Unlike his twin, he is more handsome than pretty, more lean then slim, but they both - at point - have carried that undeniable Veleikr charm, all smiles and warmth and ease.

It can be - and is - often said that Friðrekr is tall, standing at a towering 6'2", even when he's slouching. He stands at full length his father's height, an entire head or more, above his mother, with muscles that are not bulging or exactly huge, but with skin that is of a smooth, pale whiteness, something that is sinewy muscle, that covers his surprising strength. although, his face is, now, often molded over with a coldness and detachment, his expression may occasionally hold a surprisingly intense amount of compassion and gentleness that seems so strikingly breathtaking.</sub>

imagine heaven, or wherever people are sent when they pass on. it's filled with lush green grass, flowers dancing beneath colorful petals and the brilliance of the sun, with a sky that is so beautifully blue that it catches our breath, with clouds that can't be anything but sweet marshmellows filling all the empty space where cracks might leak in. next, imagine perfection -- all smiles and laughter and brightness and a beauty that cannot be masked.

that had been his life, Friðrekr Véleikr -- second heir to the Véleikr throne. the first? his brother, Freyálfr. It hadn't always been that way though.

Ragnríkr was "king", more like president of the council. Yet while the positions in the council were rarely hereditary, the exchange of money, power and repect that came with their family name was. Ragnríkr had been an only son, himself, so he hadn't had to fight. However, when he and Swanhvít birthed two sons, twins that were just minutes shy of each other, for the first time in years, it was known that there would be a civil war in Noeaelum.

It had been in the dead of the night when she went into labor. in a matter of minutes, as the housewives worked their magic, her first son was born -- a small rounded face, though angular, with soft tan skin, a mess of dark hair, pink lips that widened to a bright smile that reached up to warm blue-green eyes. He was so beautiful, like god's first child. Freyálfr.

Not long after, Swanhvít let out a cry as our very own Friðrekr pushed himself into the world, as if - even then - he couldn't imagine being beat by his undeserving brother. Adorning smooth, blinding white locks like his mother, his face was longer and leaner, bearing almost none of the softness of his brother. Thin lips curved into a line, crying only softly compared to the wails of Freyalfr, the sort of baby that was - too - carved by the gods: then finally, eyes blinking open, lips twitching upwards, wide blue eyes blinked open. a beautiful expanse of sky and water and rain. Named Friorekr, for his internal peace and tranquility, for the richness in his gaze and distinguished curve of his form, he was the holy heir.
