I'm too lazy to type another of this so I'm just going to copy my introduction from Phazon Pages... XD --- I am Cody. (My last name will not EVER be given...) I also go by Kadaj, Ymedaca, Mai, Kenya, Elemmire and Leithas (the names of all my characters on my RPG forum). I also go by the name Soryu (from a Naruto RPG). I also go by Axel (my name in German class.) Yes, I know, I go by a lot of names. I am 14. I am not without love, as there is someone in my grade who has kept my greatest interest the last few months, though I don't know if she likes me. TT_TT. Most of my time is spent inside my house, working/posting on my RPG or searching the web for... well, pretty much random things. Sometimes for monkeys slapping each other, sometimes for pictures for the RPG, some other times its just... weird. I have two friends who I relate to well. One (named Kenny) is currently a member at my RPG which lets us communicate more. The other (Lukas) doesn't have a computer but will be joining my RPG when he gets one. Him and me are starting a punk rock band. I live in a town in PA (not saying town name). I live in a big house and have way too much free time. I play rythym guitar and from time to time some poor lead. My father is... well, to say the least, annoying. He acts about 10 years younger than I act. Err, not act... well, I'm only 14, but (not trying to brag) I'm almost more mature than some of my teachers. My mother is just annoying on SOOOOOOOOOO many levels... I have a lizard and a cat as my own. My whole family has two cats, two dogs, and a bird to add to that. My current favorite band is 'My Chemical Romance' and my favorite song by them is Famous Last Words. In my sick, twisted sense of humor I also find their song Teenagers very entertaining... I enjoy these songs very much. --- Yeah. Long one, eh? Now, to get un-lazy and FINISH MY REGISTRATION... I started that thing like a week ago... now if I'd just FINISH IT... two parts left to go... Spent so long finding a picture to fit Kadaj... eventually I was forced to choose an anime picture.

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been around in a while, but busy-ness, ya know. Anyway, I'm back!
So, now that we are doing full fledged intros, my name is Andi and I'm from WP Colorado. Avery, Audra, Anix, Athia, Amber, Aeromer, and Crystal my other RPG names - yes, I know I have a thing for A names. School, band, basketball, and more activities than I can keep straight are a huge part of my life and I am a self proclaimed nerd. I'm 16 years old and a Sophomore at my HS. I have one dog - Copper - and I love him to death. And yeah, that's about it - or all that I will say on a public domain.

And I am back again! YAY! Quarter ended on Friday and this week is CSAPs (Colorado standardized tests - hate them with a fiery passion) followed by spring break, so I should be more active than I have been. Stupid Homework.

Dido. And this is the what... 7th year Ive had to take them? Luckily its the last, but that still doesn't make this any easier to take. And now I am going to vent about them, so if you don't want to hear my complaints on the CSAPs, I suggest you stop reading now.
Ok, so daylight savings changed yesterday, meaning I have to get up an hour earlier. I am SOOO not a morning person as it is, so that was how I started my day: half asleep and angry. But mine wasn't even the worst. I live in kinda a rural part of the state in the mountains, and our school draws people from like 30 miles away, if not farther. Plus, those that ride the bus have to get up even earlier. One of my friends rises at 5, and others have animals and have to get up even earlier. So this is just h*** for them as it is. Then, when you add the fact that Junior and Seniors got to sleep in - they didn't have the CSAPs and didn't have to be at school till 12:50 - that just makes the entire day more bearable. Ok, so then we got out test at what was 6:30 AM last week (school starts at 7:30), and its Math. For me, that's good, math is one of my stronger subjects.... except for the fact I haven't seen this stuff in 2-3 years. Because its my strong subject, I've been in the accelerated course and took algebra 1 in 7th and 8th grade. And I haven't really practiced it since. So here I am, half asleep, trying to think back to three years ago when I was learning this stuff, and growing more irritable by the second. Luckily I had a good book for after the test, but then I had to take session 2 of math (there's like 3-4 sections of each test; Math, Science, Reading and Writing) and session 1 Science. Luckily the Science one was a piece of cake - I think everyone finished within 40 minutes. Yet I rather would have been in the auditorium with the Freshies watching Romeo and Juiliet. Anything but more testing. But the thing that really erks me about this test is how much weight they put on them. There is such a push by the Colorado government for all the school in the state to test advanced that the schools in turn put a lot of pressure on the kids to do well. My school this year is using CSAPs to decide who goes into Honors/AP Classes next year. You screw up on the CSAPs, well, there goes your high school curriculum. Bye, bye, see ya.
After three hours of getting mad at tests, I finally had lunch, then we had the funniest schedule. We had 25 minute classes today. Come in, sit down, talk for what felt like 5 minutes, get up and go across building to your next class. By the time first period was over, I was in a fine mood. On the way to my next class, I caught up with one of my friends that was a Junior. He made a comment that he got to sleep in, and I was this (holds index and thumb about a millimeter apart) close to whacking him over the head with my French binder. Anyway, rest of the day kinda went like that, but I had that feeling you get when you look at something too long - ya know, that sort of... disconnected with wanting to scream feeling. The only thing that saved me was that it was a really nice day out... even too nice. I live at 8500ft, and for me, 45º is teeshirt weather, and 60º is darn hot (my towns record high is 90º - we all thought we were going to melt). Anyway, it was about 60 out and I was way hot. Not a pleasant end to the day. Yet luckily, my downstairs is about a year round 50º, so I got into a tank top and a pair of shorts and all is ok now.
To sum it up, I'm just happy I have RPGs to relax on. And now I'm done. Anyone else have a 'I hate standardized testing' story to tell?

Yeah, we start early here. Last week of August, usually. But the good thing is is that we get out on the 24th of May and our spring break is a week before everyone else's. Helps avoid the crowds, ya know.

What! No Spring Break! That's just cruel and unusual. Our schedule has 5 SDs built in, and we've used about 4 of them. But they still aren't going to take away our Break - if nothing else, we go a little longer at the end of the year.
