"It is a very nice city, I must say," Kadaj said, then he grinned. "But this is coming from a young wanderer who has only been here and the village he grew up in. This city is quite crowded with people, though. There weren't many people where I grew up... so I don't do very well with crowds." He grinned at the thought.
He looked at the stew. Just the smell was making his stomach want to roar out in desire, but Kadaj (to keep from being embarrassed in front of Nostariel) tried his best to keep it in and only squeaks came out, quiet enough that only he could hear them, though quite soft even for him.
Kadaj glanced at the dragon and, noticing the dragon STILL didn't like him very much, turned away, looking at Nostariel. "So, what do you do for a living, miss?" He asked.

Nostariel smiled, Unlike Kadaj, She had grown almost her whole life in the city. Only faint memories remained of the calm life she once held. She found it hard to believe a life without the bustle the city produced. Grinning she leaned forward, stirring the soup a few times, then taking a few crudley made bowls, tipping the pot slightly to fill a bowl. She handed it lightly over to Kadaj and poured herself a bowl as well.
Lightly laying it in her lap she looked up to answer his question. "Me?" she intoned with a laugh. "Training is pretty much all I do" she drawled with a sigh. "Although it does get a bit grueling at times, I can't say that I hate it" she citated with laugh.
'Your saying to much' growled a voice in her head. 'Vehiron, Lighten your thoughts..He's no danger' 'Say that when your dead' he growled and cut the transition.
Nostariel shook her head, and looked up. "How's the stew?" she questioned with a light smile.

Kadaj took at quick taste and his head shot up, grinning. "Best thing I've ever taste... even though that's not saying much." He quickly finished the stew and looked at Nostariel.
"Training, huh?" He said, as a question but he wasn't really expecting an answer. He smiled at her. "So, are you planning on traveling or are you going to stay and train in the city your whole life?" Before he could get an answer, he held out the bowl and said, "Can I have more, please?"

Nostariel smiled at his compliment, nodding in thanks before taking a sip of her own stew as he spoke. At his comment about her traveling, Nostariel let out a merry laugh, sounding like the lithe song of a meadowlark. Before answering she scooped Kadaj another bowl, handing it over gently.
'Hatchling, Watch your words' growled Vehiron in her mind, yet Nostariel bluntly ignored him continuing to speak. She liked this Kadaj, to hardly say less, as she had not met many outside the castle yet there was something...Kind in him, something she found her self enjoying.
"If only I could travel, I supposed I will one day. I've only taken a brief trip to the Du Weldenvarden...Now that's a place I'd love to stay" she drawled dreamily, taking a sip of the stew before turning to Kadaj. "How about you? Ever think of perhaps settling down? Making a life other than that of a wander" she asked boistrously, quite the opposite of the question he had just asked her. Lifting the bowl to her lips, she drank deeply before setting it down again, awaiting his response.

"Settling down does sound very nice, and I plan on it some day. But first I want to see everything I can in the world- from edge to edge." He smiled at the thought. "From the Spine in the northwest to the Beor Mountains in the southeast." He took the bowl, thanking Nostariel, and started to consume the stew. Once again he thought how heavenly this taste compared to the slightly mashed bread he had eaten all his life at home. He thought about how terrible that tasted, and was glad to be eating something so delicious.
"Du Weldenvarden, huh? Yeah, that's one of the places I plan on going. Most definitely. With your words, I am looking forward to my visit there." He smiled at her and then looked at the sky. There were dark clouds looming over them, and he looked back at the pot. "We should move to somewhere with cover. It looks as thought it might rain soon."
OOC: You always comment about bad posts. It actually gets kinda annoying. XD If it's a bad post, it's a bad post. You don't have to talk about it.

Nostariel smiled lightly, Perhaps traveling would be something she'd want to do, yet something that was unbearibly 'Hard' to do; For her anyway. She'd probably gone exploring long before this if not the chains of responsitbility that held her down. She listened to his words and nodded. "I've always wandered what lies beyound our borders, Surly you can see our map is not complete, A mere chunk of what could be endless" she intoned cooly with a mischievious smirk.
The cool wind that tickled her neck shot her head up and she sniffed the air, the rancid smell of coming rain thick on the air. "Yes, Some cover would be grand, I don't like the rain" she articulated with a laugh, dousing the fire and pouring out the rest of the stew.
Vehiron snorted, and started to speak with Nostariel yet she blocked him out for now, knowing it was probbably some curt, ruder comment about Kadaj. Slinging her pack on her back she looked about, spotting a thick grove of trees, with wide branches and ancient wood. "How bout there?" she pointed, raising her hand to her brow as she pointed with the other.

Kadaj looked where Nostariel had pointed. He nodded. "Looks fine to me," he said as he struggled to his feet. "We should start moving soon, it looks as though the rain will start falling in no less than an hour." He looked toward the grove, and smiled. He had always liked being in trees. It somehow seemed more comforting to him than being out in the open.
He walked a little bit toward the grove and looked back. "So, let's go then!" He shouted, as he was a bit farther off than he had remembered walking.

Nostariel nodded and and walked after, Vehiron tensing and leaping from the ground gliding to the clearing quickly and setting down. Watching the two near with impatient emerald eyes, like those of an agrivated cat.
Nostariel finally padded through the trees, her hair wet by the drizzle that had began to fall, Nostariel looked back with a shiver to see if Kadaj had followed then turned her head to find Vehiron and herself face to face. He opened his maw and gently blew hot hair about her. She shivered at the sudden change yet certainly at ease with it.
'If you would of listened before' he growled in her mind, Fanning his wings to make a makeshift shelter for her, and if Kadaj wished to under. Nostariel simply chuckled, and layed a hand on her comapanion's shoulder. Lifting her strange, slanted, dual eyes up, Filled to the brim with compassion and love.

Kadaj walked into the grove dripping wet. Between the time Nostariel had entered the groves and the time Kadaj had gotten there, the rain had started to pour. He rubbed his hair awkwardly and seated himself, pulling a towel from somewhere on his person and rubbing himself dry, starting with his hair. He looked up at Nostariel and her dragon as rain leaked in through the trees and started getting him wet again.
"Darn it!" He stood up, shouting, as he had just dried himself. He let out somewhat of a growl-like noise then pouted and sat down. "Why does rain have to be so wet?" He asked this in a joking tone, as to make it obvious he was joking. He sat back and close to the trunk of a tree, as to face minimal rain.
From there he looked at the sky. The clouds had made it quite dark and eerie looking. The wanderer had only seen this dark a sky a few times in which he could remember. Very bad storms had followed on all of those occasions.
"I think we should find better shelter," he suggested, a little nervous of the coming storm. To say the least, he though, it's anything but good.

Nostariel watched Kadaj with amused eyes as he pouted about. Vehiron merely snorted, his lips curling up as ivory fangs pulled down past his lips and a throaty sound escaped his jowel, which was indeed laughter. His emerald eyes dazzled with curiosity and bemusement and Nostariel shivered as the cool connection between them commenced.
'He may be a bit blunt, yet He is quite fun to watch' quiped the amused voice in her mind. Nostariel bit her lip from laughing aloud, just sending the blunt emotion of half agreement and half shame to him. Truley, She though he was probably keen, yet the laughter that he rose from her throat felt nice. She didn't have the leisure to laugh all the time as she once did as a child, so the warm feeling it placed in her felt quite refreshing, as if she was once more playing the gardens of the small cottage in Kuasta.
The words rung in her mind and she too raised her eyes to the heavens, scanning the black clouds that rippled across the firmament of sky, Shrounding the brilliance which was held behind it. Meanwhile Vehiron stretched one of his long, membraned limbs to shelter Kadaj with his wing high above him like a roof. Nostariel finally snapped from her trance and looked to Kadaj.
"Your probably right, Yet where would you suggest going?" she intoned curiously, her herself scanning the terra around them for a more formidable shelter.

OOC: I've got 10 minutes. I'll get what I can, and I'll probably edit later, after school.
"I don't know. According to my knowledge, even a building won't do, unless it's extremely sturdy." He looked to the clouds. "I've seen this but few times before. All those times, in my hometown, it had caused one building to crumble, burn, or just seem to dissolve." He let his hand slip up through his hair to push it out of his eyes.
He looked up at the dragon's wing that now covered him. He smiled at the dragon, and at the same time was hoping that this meant the dragon didn't hate him as much as he suspected Vehiron did. "Thank you," was all that came out, yet in a very cheerful tone for the occasion of a storm like this. Then he looked at Nostariel. "Do you know of any places that would be to the likeness of a hurricane shelter?"
OOC: Cool I got the whole thing done in less than 5 minutes...

Nostariel listened in horror of the storm. She never like rain, nor fire, yet that made no difference. The storm was upon them and that's all she could say. Biting her lip she looked to the black clouds that ravaged the sky. They reminded her of The Day. The day when her life was shatter, and she was left to die. Snapping to reality she listened to Kadaj continue to talk, and merely shook her head at his last comment.
"Unless you want to trek all the way back to the city, and even then the storm will be upon us. It's too risky with the wind for Vehiron to fly. Other then digging a hole for the three of us to fit in by the time that storm get's to us..." she joked nervously, "We really have no where to go..." she intoned, worry weaving onto her melodic words and she wrung her hands together, looking up at the dragon's angular face before finally settling on Kadaj's.

NOW Kadaj began to get nervous. He bit his lips, pacing back and forth.
"This is bad... this is bad..." He paced faster. "No where to go..." He remembered the day the storm had struck his hometown. Where had he gone? Where had he gone? He couldn't remember, and the more he tried to the less he could remember of the day. He looked at the black clouds that now completely blotted out the sun.
Then he looked toward Nostariel and her dragon, which he still didn't know the name of. He was pretty sure he didn't. He looked back to the clouds, and thought for a moment, clearing his mind, and standing still.
His family had taken up protection in a hurricane shelter.
"Dang! This is no good!" He whispered to himself in anger. "We stay here, we get struck by the storm, bad..." He turned to Nostariel and Vehiron. "We COULD try to move, but there's a chance we could get hit even worse by the storm than we would here." He had thought about everything possible, but nothing else worked. They would have to make a run for it and hope to find some kind of extremely sturdy shelter from the storm.

Nostariel sat on a hardened stump, lifting her fingers to her lips in thought. Suddenly her head snapped upward and she jumped to her feet, sizing up Vehiron then biting her lip, shaking her head as to dispel the thought.
Walking over to her bonded companion she slumped against his muscular shoulder, thinking deep in thought. "We could...Are there any tunnels, Underground ones, that you know of around here?" she questioned, knowing the answer would probably be no.

Underground tunnels, eh? DID I see any? Kadaj stood, thinking for a little while.
"There probably is one," he soon stated, "but I don't know where one is." He walked to the edge of the grove and looked out. He listened to the dull roll of thunder coming from the dark clouds that now began to roll over the far edge of the grove. Kadaj's face took on a worried expression. "Whatever we do, we should do it soon," he suggested.OOC | Wow, I'm so into my story that I almost used the main character's name here rather than Kadaj!

Nostariel nodded turning about she set down through the groves, her steps light and quick as if a set destination in mind. Vehiron's deep jade eyes watched the back of his rider, in a sort of fiery manor, as if he knew the intentions of the young woman. Snorting, he eyed Kadaj for a moment, his tail flicking impatiently as if awaiting him to move first. For indeed, that was just what the reptilian beast had in mind.
Meanwhile, Nostariel's balanaced gait carried her through the thin foilage. There was a system underground, yet to this stranger was another matter entirly. Surley she'd be punished if the boy blabbed anything of this secret underground network, yet did she have a choice. A gentl sigh surpassed her lips, mind delving deep in thought, deep in memories long past, and deep into the hurtfull shame.
" Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone that none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! ''
The sweet innocent song rang through the meadow as two children sang, swinging arms as the tender bare feet graced the soft grasses. The two children, who looked nearly identiclal let out a torrent of musical laughter, and the girl took hold of the boys arm with both hands, swinging about before falling to the ground, bringing her twin with her. "Now Arthion!" piped her high lithe voice. "What 'ave I told you about playing silly?" she joked, making her delicate features solid and serious. The young boy of five laughed, poking the girls side, and than tapping her nose, before placing his hands on hips. "But Nos, Tis just a little fun!" he joked, propping on his knees, he tackled his younger, femine duplicate. The two children rolled over one another, laughter rising onto the high east wind which blew across the serene meadows to the south of Kuasta.''
Nostariel broke from the flashback, biting down on her lip to prevent the glossy counfounds that swirled in her cerulean and jade eyes from escaping. Oh how times had changed.

Vigorous combs of wind lifted and tossed Kadaj's thin strands of hair as it's strength doubled with the coming storm. He gazed up through the gaps in the leaves of the trees above him, watching the dark clouds blot out the light of the sun. Then, returning to reality, he looked about to find himself in the same grove as before. Nostariel had begun to move without him, and he slowly fell further and further behind.
Getting up quickly, he dashed through the grove to catch up to her, carefully leaping over uncovered roots of the trees. He watched as Nostariel's dragon fell behind, watching him carefully, and he took note of this as he came up by Nostariel's side. "So, any plans?"
OOC| Eh, for some reason, this time I felt like being very elegant in detail...
