Hm, cool idea. Kinda an introduce yourself thing. But unfortunately I'm feeling a bit to lazy tonight to make my own thread, so Ill just reply on yours! Im... Well, I'm not going to say either but the people that know me know me - if that makes any sense at all ... but I'm currently a Sophomore in High school in Colorado. Yep - rooftop of the Nation and best place to be in my view. Cant argue with waking up to Pikes Peak every morning. Anyway... A bit about me... Ok, I'm involved in Marching Band - the piccolo is awesome just so everyone knows - and I manage for the Girls basketball team. I have a dog named Copper and an obsession with reading and watching movies. And RPing - I have one of my friends to thank for that lol. I am crammed full of random, useless knowledge and am a wiz in Science. So - that's pretty much me in a nut shell.

It certainly is - although Ive never lived anywhere else so I cant really compare. But, anyway, waking up and seeing the Peak glowing in the morning is definitely the way to start the day. It makes up for the certain lack of air we have up here (I live at about 9,000 ft)

Woah! My ears wouldn't stop popping if I lived there lol

Ah, you get used to it. My ears only pop like twice on the way to Colorado Springs (30 minutes and 3,000 ft drop). What's really hard is playing any sports up here. There is no air! Trust me - you take air for granted until you are trying to play a game up here and cant catch your breath.
But it must be cool where you live. Ive never been to Philadelphia, but it must be cool being so near to all of those great landmarks and stuff. And you have air.

I wish our weather would get wacky here. Its been more than a month since we got snow and yesterday it was warmer here than in Florida! That is just not right! Sides, 70º is WAY to warm anyhow (I like 45 - 50º).

Yeah, especially when the summer RECORD high is only 90º. It was not like early fall out there - it was like the dead middle of summer! And we have no snow. It makes me mad. Gr.

Wow. I thought we had it bad here without any snow. Well, we did have that "blizzard" in October and got some from that, but its been long gone. It only took 2 days for 2 ft. of snow to go away! If it keeps this up, fire season this year will not be a fun one, and Ive lived through too many fires already.

And it was WAY late this year. Our fall is the second week in September because we usually get a foot of snow the next week. Winter usually goes from mid Sept. to mid May - but this year is way too warm and not wintry enough. Its like the winter in 01-02, the winter that preceded the Haymen Fire. And I think that's what has me so freaked out. Plus I like the snow!

Im so happy! We got about 4 inches today! I wish it was more, but it is some snow. Took it long enough, sheesh! lol

I want some now too. It burned of in a day, and we havent had any since. I think we may have a storm moving in tonight, but im not sure. Poor Dad - he had to go to Steamboat Springs today. Driving in snow - especially where they get a bunch all at once - ew.
Like I said in the C-box, Im soo sorry I havent been on in forever. Basketball season started, meaning Im busy until mid March. Oh well. I wouldnt have it any other way ;D.
Duke basketball won last night. It makes me happy
