 okay hais.
so..
you guys can call me fenn, or any sort of nicknames you can come up with.
i used to be an old friend of bramble/eragon, if you were wondering. 83
BUT.
i have suggestions ! i'm not trying to be obnoxious. it's just that i've admined sites before. and the ideas seemed to work well.
- we should have the site on a one character-account basis. plus sides to this include seeming like we're active, even when we're not, because you can sign into multiple accounts right after the other; you can put more things in your signatures, especially pertaining to that specific character; you can put the type of group the character belongs to - rider, villian, hero, dwarf - as a "special title" or even, a group.
- which leads into my next suggestion. we should color coordinate the groups -- the elves, the dwarves, the humans, etc.
- on the subject, again, of being more organized, we can make a table instead of the fader - personally i hate the faders because it takes so long to load - or make side tables. if you need examples of those, just tell me.
- make a new skin, to attract new members.
- make a pre-completed advertisement form. so, if one of us feels so inclined to advertise somewhere, we can just as easily as one-two-three, as in copy-paste-post.
- perhaps, we can make a face claim thread. i know you don't have to have one, but for those who do, it would be good not to overlap.
- make a guidebook for those who are unfamiliar with the series -- just major points.
- get a brand new c-box, the ones with the "refresh" button instead of the stupid "join" button, that serves no purpose as far as i can tell. then place the code in the global headers so that we don't always have to be on teh home page.
- distinguish what the rating of this roleplay will be - PG, G, M - and the literacy level -- advanced, moderate, semi-literate, etc. in order to draw new members in that way.
annd probably other stuff. i just can't remember.

Haha no it wasn't overwhelming. It is actually good to hear what needs to be done. I will try my best to make some of these happen. Thank you for the suggestions. They are very helpful.

The previous plot was the basic Eragon plot. The idea that Eragon found the dragon egg I think. What if we were to start from scratch? Or we could just erase all of the old posts and members and such just in case there are people like you who want to come back. I have an idea for a name. It's really random but I don't know. What do you think of Dragon's Breath? It's okay if you don't like it.

because for some reason, members are attracted to brand new sites. -shrug-
EDIT:
oh ! what if we changed the plot around. just a bit.
unless, of course, you really loved the movie that much.
but.
we could perhaps have this take place 100 years after eragon has died?
or galbatorix has defeated eragon or something.
and the world spins into chaos.
thinking the reign of the riders - once and for all - has ended...

i'm only a sophmore in highschool. ^^;;
gee, i feel young.
(oh, and my bio isn't finished. i may take a while yet, between school and sports and muse. )
as for the new site, it would depend.
like..
if you were thinking of being the only admin - ever - you should make it.
if you were planning to co-admin it, you could still make it --
but i think then, you should make the main admin account sort of like a co-admin account.
such as...
"THE GOD" or "THE ANCIENTS" or whatever diety they believe in,
could be the name of the real admin account.
just because we're having one-character accounts, right?

Hi everyone, i've been looking over this site and I really enjoy it ^^. I wanted to become a member, but it looks like it's a ghost town here. *sigh* If anyone looks over this site as a admin plz reply to this.
