Name:
Kadaj Mortis
Age:
20-ish
Gender:
Male
Appearance:
Kadaj is fairly tall, maybe six foot something. He is about at a medium physique, and has medium-long light brown hair. He has purplish-blue eyes and fairly light skin. He does not have any scars, but how long he will be keeping this perfect look, I'm not so sure. He shaves, so he has no beard or mustache.
When he is not wearing armor, the clothes Kadaj wears are usual farmers' clothes. A tattered brown shirt with tattered tan pants, and a rough blue belt holding the shirt down and the pants up. He also wears blue-colored arm-bands just below his wrists and padded leather boots, and sometimes he wears a headband but not always.
Now, his armor. The chestpiece is red with gold, intricate trimming. His pauldrons are a gold color and have the symbols of dragon's heads on them, with a pattern of upside-down Y's on it, with intricate gold bordering. His gauntlets are made of the same red metal as the chestpiece, with golden metal protecting his knuckles. He wears a blue cape, and has greaves that match the chest-piece. He wears gold plated boots, too.
RP Example:
Kadaj walked up to the building. "Finally," he said to himself. He had his sword in it's bright blue sheathe on his back, and he was dressed in armor made of a fairly rare metal, he had it specially made. He also had his bow, which was the last thing he had bought, on his back with a quiver full of arrows.
The young man walked into the building. All around him, well equipped men were chatting about their recent victories. He let a grin cross his face as he proceeded to a counter near the center of the large room. There was a plump, bald man behind the counter who shot a glance at him- more of an angry glare- for a few seconds, then turned back to a man almost twice the size of Kadaj.
"Excuse me," Kadaj said, "I would like to purchase a horse." He said. No one replied, for no one had listened. He cleared his throat and spoke louder, dropping a large sack of coins on the counter. "I SAID... I would like to purchase a horse." The plump man's eyes lit up at the sight of the bulging pouch. "Only the finest for such a rich customer," he said, and brought the young man into the main part of the stable.
Soon, Kadaj was in front of a fine reddish colored steed. "This one is quite fast and strong," the plump man said. Kadaj plopped the pouch into the man's hand in within minutes he was out of the town on his new horse.
Rank:
Wanderer
Country:
Alagaesia
Personality:
Kadaj has a very... well, jumpy personality. His being really depends on what situation he is in. His attitude, voice, and mood change often, depending on the type of situation, then by what the situation is. He is really a strange young man when it comes to personality.
In awkward situations, he is a very joking person. He falls down a lot then gets up and laughs at himself, and prompts others to laugh at him. In just plain old happy situations, he acts like he's skipping through a field of daisies (which really scares me at times). In the situation of an exciting, un-expected event, he would be the most excited, jumpy person around.
But in more depressing situations, he really turns around. When in a sad situation, he's the guy who is on his knees bawling his eyes out. In pure fright, he shivers and sweats and everything, and is scared by every little noise.
Then it comes down to serious situations, which is the only time he does not seem totally insane. When planning for battle, he seems almost like a war general. When in battle, how he acts makes you think he's been at war for decades. Though in those past two situations, he has no where near the skill to back it up most of the time. There are those times, though, when he's really good...
History:
Kadaj was born on a farm in Therinsford. Until the age of six he was pampered more than any other baby in the area. Ever since the age of ten he has had a deep interest in exploring the world, seeing everything there was to see.
The young man became fascinated about the stories of Dragon Riders he started hearing at the age of 14. He trained himself with a horse and, on the horses at the stable he worked for, he got better with riding horses. He was training himself to travel alone.
By the age of 18 not only was he the best young swordsman in his town, an expert horse rider, but he was in the higher 'ranks' of education too. He had studied every night until midnight about the geography of Alagaesia and other countries.
A year after the peak of his knowledge and skill, he began saving his money. Soon he bought a new, clean, better blade and studded leather armor. He bought a bow, which he had also self-taught himself to use, and hid them in a secret compartment in his room.
Now, at age 20, he has everything he needs and is going out to explore like he has always dreamed of. He's about to find out, though, that it's not as easy as he thought it would be.
