Name: Adurna Ylmon
Age: Sixteen.
Gender: Female
Appearance: Adurna is of a pale complexion, which takes on a slight pink tint when embarassed or flustered. Her hair is a slightly dark blonde, golden almost, which is usually pulled up into a fancy style or left down (it rolls down to slightly past her shoulder blades), either way kept as neat as possible. Adurna's eyes are a gray-blue color, and slightly wide, but not so that she has a permanetly surprised look on her face. She's decently tall, approximately five foot five and a half. As for her clothing, she wears gowns of glorious material and fascinating designs, with intricate details that clearly are worth a lot and took a bountiful amount of time to be sewn. She either wears sandals or slippers on her feet, as going barefoot is not an option. The one piece of jewelry she wears is an white opal pendant, with silver cord and a silver fastener, and was her mother's.
RP Example: The ocean breeze tossed her hair as Adurna leaned on the balcony. The breeze whispered softly in her ear, and she turned her head to gaze at the setting sun. The moment was peaceful, the day had been peaceful. But so had the week, and the month...
And she hated it.
Adurna loathed, almost to an extreme, the constant peace, how it was so constant, and nothing ever broke it into smaller chunks of constant peace.
Why must we have this never-ending, monotonous wave of boredom?
Of course, to her herself it was boredom, and surely someone had to enjoy not rushing to defend the city, or stop pirates from attacking the ships docked at the harbor, saving the city from some kind of unpredictable disaster.
Adurna sighed, and rested her chin on her hands, which sat on the balcony, and hoped for a sudden change of... anything. Something had to happen eventually... didn't it?
Rank: Resident of Teirm.
Country: Alagaësia.
Personality: Sensitive and sweet around company, Adurna Ylmon generally appears to most as the average daughter of a wealthy man. She never likes to be contained in her home, though that's usually what happens. A pet peeve of hers is being judged by her age, though in some ways she is rather immature, seeing as she really knows nothing of what's going on outside the walls of the city or what true danger is, having been concealed from it her whole life. Adurna has a fiery temper that acts up sometimes too quickly. She sometimes uses fallacious reasoning to answer her questions, drawing conclusions more quickly than they should have been. She's quick to correct, but not to be corrected, and is an extreme perfectionist. Her faults put off most people that try to truly get to know her, and thus she doesn't really have any friends.
History: Adurna was born to a wealthy family, her father a merchant of great money, in the sea port of Teirm, her mother dying in childbirth. Her father, fearing the loss of the other female in his life that he loved, kept Adurna on a very tight leash. Growing up on the shores of the sea, Adurna loves the ocean, though she never quite got to see it as much as she grew older and older. For as she aged, her father only kept her even more restricted, removing her freedom from her slowly but surely. While she lived in a wonderous house, boredom grew quickly on her,as it was so hard to find something to do after an amount of time, and so she always has trouble finding ways to entertain herself. And she wondered more than ever, after coming of age, about what lays outside the sparkling blue-green ocean, Teirm, and it's magnificently tall wall.
