OK here is my idea of the significance of the gem that is called isidar mithrim in the town of farthen Dur the gem is right under the dragon hold and old riders used to stay there so what if some of the old riders may have stored some of the there powers in that gem so eragon may figure this out and be able to withdraw the energy in a time of need. what do think
